Published on: 13th December, 2022

Miranda Siemelink workes as a project lead at the Lab, from CultuurOost. The Lab is a professional learning community, consisting of arts educators, teachers, students from both art school and teacher training, artists, musicians and other experts.

They spend 4 years working together on enhancing arts education, divided in different groups. The Lab that Miranda has worked on, one of four, was centered around maker education.

Listen to her story and key learnings from this Lab.

'What do new teachers need, to do their profession around maker education? An open mind, work with open ended questions and the willingness to go into the process.'
