Paul Collard on the Creative Habits of Mind and about how creativity is how we learn.

Published on: 20th December, 2022

Paul Collard has been the Chief Executive of Creativity, Culture and Education, where he retired from. He has 25 yearsโ€™ experience of working in the arts and is an expert in delivering programs that use creativity and culture as drivers of social and economic change.

'We defined the creative habits of mind: curious, inquisitive, persistent, disciplined and collaborative. I believe that creativity is the way we learn. I believe that learning is the most wonderfull thing we humans have came up with. But the tragedy is that most children are locked out of learning, by schools, who do not promote learning, but promote schooling.'
